Our Clinician

Evan Armstrong (BEd(PE), BHSci, MPhysio) is the Managing Director of Destiny Health. He commenced his career in the fitness industry working as a personal trainer for the local YMCA. He taught secondary college Physical Education and Health for three years. Evan has worked as a registered physiotherapist for over four years. He has worked with Veteran’s Affairs, Medicare, WorkCover and the NDIS. He has worked for local Australian Rules Football clubs in both male and female senior leagues. He has worked with people from ages six to ninety-six and across a broad range of presentations. 

Evan has experience in private practice, hospitals and aged care facilities. He currently holds a position as a consultant under WorkCover. Aside from his formal 8 years of university training, Evan has completed a Diploma in Football Medicine with FIFA, and the Excellence In Orthopaedics program with Medbridge University.

Evan is a member of the professional development companies Clinical Edge and Physio Network. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He attends professional development seminars every year as a part of his ongoing commitment to high quality health care. In his spare time, Evan enjoys working out in the gym, walking his dog Bailey, catching up on his reading and taking his family to the beach.
